The Verdict Is In: CMS Students Impress At Mock Trial Competition
Seventh and eighth graders from CMS traveled to Suffolk Community College on Wednesday morning to compete in a regional Mock Trial Tournament. Dressed in professional attire and armed with their case packets and evidence, our students confidently stepped into the roles of attorneys and witnesses.
The program, overseen by Chris Boundy, prepared the students well for the event, where they competed against schools from Southampton, West Babylon, Northport, and Hicksville. After a busy morning of opening statements, witness examinations, and closing arguments, the students congratulated their competition in a sign of great sportsmanship. We are incredibly proud of the student for representing Commack with such professionalism and skill!
