COMMACK MIDDLE SCHOOL

CMS students who are new to the district are continuing to get a warm welcome.

On Wednesday morning, the new students boarded a bus and are getting a tour of Commack so that they are more familiar with their new community.

Stops include all of the schools in the district, Marion Carll and Hoyt farms, and other good-to-know places, such as the Northgate Shopping Center, Cedar Road Park, AMC Movie Theatre and the Commack Public Library.

During the stop at the library, librarians will share useful tips.

Organized by the counseling center, new CMS students meet monthly as a group to ensure a smooth transition to the district.
